Q. Rich countries often give money to poorer countries, but it does not solve poverty. Therefore, developed countries should give other types of help to the poor countries rather than financial aid. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Developed countries often provide donations and disaster relief funds to the developing world to address poverty; however, it is argued that they should help them alleviate poverty in a variety of ways. This essay fully agrees with this claim because of some compelling arguments that we will explore here.

To commence with, creating jobs for people in poor homelands can be an effective way to reduce poverty. Because underdeveloped countries often lack the resources to create jobs for local citizens, there are fewer options for professionals such as doctors and engineers. For example, rich states can offer skilled jobs to professionals and open doors for unskilled workers to perform labor tasks. In this way, they can not only support low-income states but also take advantage of the economic labor force.

Moreover, another productive way to support disadvantaged neighboring countries is to trade and do business with them. This can stimulate the economies of both countries and increase their GDP. For example, developing countries can offer agricultural services to wealthier communities by selling organic products such as rice, wheat, seasonal fruits and vegetables. Lastly, bartering should be encouraged in nearby regions, which can greatly help low-income families. This means that subsistence farmers can exchange their harvests for the goods they need without paying for them.

In summary, there are many different ways that can reduce the risk of food insecurity in poor communities. In this regard, job openings and trade are the most significant and respectful methods of combating poverty.
