Q. Extreme sports such as sky diving and skiing are very dangerous and should be banned. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this view?

Issues and trends related to extreme sports are often discussed these days. It is argued that extreme sports such as skydiving and skiing should not be attempted due to their risks. I strongly disagree with this statement and the explanation will be discussed in the following paragraphs.

The primary reason to consider is that dangerous sports have a great impact on both the physical and mental abilities of a person. When it comes to physical skills, people train hard to improve their body. For example, surfers have to learn how to balance their bodies during activities such as big wave surfing. Additionally, these sports can help people become more confident and also overcome someone's fears.

Another point is that risky sports have a positive impact on travel in many regions of the world. This means that in some countries, such as New Zealand, skydiving is the most attractive travel activity. Moreover, when these activities become points of attraction, governments will develop neighborhoods as a result. For instance, hotels in the Mount Blac mountain's area are always full during the holiday season as Mount Blac mountain is one of the most attractive skiable mountains.

In conclusion, I am of the opinion that although extreme sports are dangerous, they have many benefits and players can avoid these accidents by protecting themselves. Therefore, governments and individuals should support these activities in many aspects, including the development of security and travel conditions.
