Q. In some cities, public parks and open spaces are being changed into gardens where local residents can grow their own fruits and vegetables. Do the advantage outweigh the disadvantage?

Open spaces and parks in many cities are being replaced by gardens in which residents can plant their own fruits and vegetables. While this trend has some downsides, the author argues that the benefits of encouraging healthy eating and bringing people together outweigh the downsides of introducing the risk of toxins into the environment.

It is crucial to acknowledge that repurposing more farming areas could stimulate the habit of eating healthy food. It must be recognized that people love enjoying their own food grown. Therefore, if more fruits and vegetables were grown, individuals would realize the meaning of consuming this type of food. Thus it can be seen that reconstructing public spaces to gardens is likely to raise citizens's awareness of rearing and having healthy meals. Furthermore, planting green products could foster a sense of community among local residents. It is evident that as residents take care of greens, they will communicate with each other on a variety of topics. Consequently, their relationships could be improved rapidly.This will benefit both individuals and communities as a whole.

However, some citizens have expressed concerns about the fertilizers contained in the planting process. They argue that fertilizers can have adverse effects on the environment, causing local soil and water to become contaminated and potentially leading to many detrimental effects. While this point of view is correct, residents are also aware of the need to use organic compounds to help their plants. Therefore, toxic content is not a major problem due to the development of harmless plant improvers.

In conclusion, the disadvantages of the harmful content of fertilizers are outweighed by the new consumption habit and communication between people. As a result, repurposing outdoor spaces to create garden areas remains an excellent benefit in the modern era.
