Q. Some people think that employers should not care about the way their employees dress, because what matters is the quality of their work. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Many people argue that companies should focus on their employees' performance at completing tasks rather than how they dress. Does what an employee wears really matter in determining the quality of their work? I don't agree with this opinion. I believe that focusing on employee performance will not only promote positive competition among employees, but will also help increase the financial growth of the company.

Appropriate clothing is especially important when a company has employees from different cultures. Firstly, people of different nationalities wear different clothes, which not only reflect their traditions and religion, but also demonstrate their adherence to their norms. Second, employers must understand that ignoring the standard dress code will have serious consequences. For example, wearing unethical clothing such as a short skirt can be psychologically difficult for a Muslim girl who works on the same floor as it goes against her cultural and religious beliefs.

Likewise, managers' efforts to ensure acceptable dress codes in the workplace will also improve job performance. If employers give freedom to clothing, people may focus on fashion, talking about different clothing brands and shopping malls, which can result in significant damage to business performance as people will spend too much time on these activities. Thus, businesses should try to develop scenarios where productivity will be maximized rather than encouraging activities such as loose clothing that could harm them in the long run.

In conclusion, we discussed how cultural awareness can be appreciated when business executives focus on employees' working dresses , and how a healthy working environment can be created by focusing on personal choices such as wearing dresses and jewellery.
