Q. The best way to teach children to cooperate is through team sports at school. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Team sports generally promote good values ​​for society. Some say children should learn to cooperate by playing this sport in school. In my opinion, I completely agree that teaching cooperation through team sports would be the best way for students to incorporate this approach into their lives.

Nowadays, football, rugby, hockey and volleyball are incredibly famous all over the world, and children know them very well, watch them on TV and even train in sports centers as well as at school. In particular, physical education teachers always try to introduce students to the wonderful world of teamwork by explaining the rules of each sport and then allowing them to practice on the ground. For example, in practice they need to form two teams and play football, when they need to pass the ball to score, they need to trust and know each other to improvise with the ball. It's a fact that children love to play and exercise, so why not use this to help them improve their teamwork skills?

In addition to this, teachers can motivate children to participate in regional tournaments where they need to strengthen their relationships to create a strong group and improve human values ​​such as cooperation and respect. For example, at the school where I worked, every year there was a big competition in which all students of all levels participated. Teamwork was implemented through various activities and sports, and even families participated in providing meals and supporting their children. There is no doubt that the guys were very motivated and really enjoyed the tournament.

To conclude, teaching sports in a school where students can learn to organize themselves as a team in the field and become motivated to participate in collegiate competitions will make a huge difference in their attitude and the way they interact with each other. Sports may not be the only way to teach this, but it is certainly the most practical way to teach youth to act together in their community.
