Q. In some countries, more and more adults are continuing to live with their parents even after they have completed education and found jobs. Do the advantages outweigh disadvantages?

Joint families still exist in some Asian countries where adults choose to stay with their parents after graduation and employment. While there are many benefits to this trend, such as emotional support, household chores, and financial stability, it outweighs any downsides. The essay will further discuss both sides of the sentence with relevant examples and take it to its logical conclusion.

To inaugurate with, one of the biggest benefits of a joint family is the emotional support of a teenager, since we know that when someone pursues his career, he has gone through many obstacles, and in this situation, a person needs a family. Secondly, when a person lives with his parents, he most likely does not need to do some household chores, such as cooking, washing, because in the family responsibilities are always distributed among members. In addition, parents provide financial support to children even if they have grown up, so the financial burden is reduced when someone lives in the same house as their parents, most importantly, they do not have to pay bills immediately. For example, a study conducted in the 20 to 30 age group found that adults who live with their parents are more physically and mentally stronger than those who live alone.

On the other hand, there are several disadvantages when living with parents, one of the main problems is privacy, young people do not have privacy and time for themselves. Living with parents can make someone dependent in every way, and the person will face a lot of hardships in the future. For example, a girl who lives with her mother and father during her 30s and suddenly moves to any other country to study will face more obstacles compared to a girl who already lives apart from her parents.

To conclude, therefore, despite some shortcomings of the joint family present in modern society, this trend is not suitable for modern society, nevertheless, the above trend still has valuable primary benefits for adults and is beneficial for both children and parents.
