Q. The best way to teach children to cooperate is through team sports at school. What extent do you agree or disagree with statement?

The objective of education is to ensure the comprehensive development of children. Since team sports improve their fitness, team spirit, communication and social skills, I agree that they should be part of a child's education.

When children play team sports, they learn many valuable skills that will serve them well. For instance, they learn to work towards a common goal. They learn to share and put the interests of the group ahead of their own. For example, in a game of football, not everyone can score a goal. Most teams usually only have two or three strikers, but the whole team must work towards the same goal to help these strikers score the goals that will win the match. Thus, when children play a game like a football, they learn that everyone must work together towards common goals. Needless to say, kids who grow up playing team sports will be great team players in the workplace. This quality is especially important in our time, when victory depends on cooperation. In addition, team players are less prone to self-centered.

Another benefit of playing sports is that it allows children to accept success and failure with dignity. If sport becomes part of education, all children will have the opportunity to play. Otherwise, they may only focus on their studies and thus not be able to enjoy the benefits of team sports.

In conclusion, considering all of the above points, it is not hard to see that children who play team sports are more likely to enjoy their physical and emotional health compared to children who don't play any team sports. Therefore, I fully agree that team sports should be part of education.
