Q. Some people believe that radio is the best source to get news while others think that television is better for this purpose. Discuss both perspectives and give your opinion with relevant examples?

Everyone wants to know what's happening across the globe. They can receive this information from various sources such as radio or television. Some people think radio is better, while others think television is better. This essay discusses both points of view and explains why television is the best source of news and information.

To commence with, a fair amount of people prefer to listen to the radio for news and information. Radio certainly has many benefits. Firstly, it is very easy to carry it from one place to another, as it is very lightweight. Secondly, you can still listen to the radio when you are traveling. In fact, you can listen to the radio while you are working in the kitchen, garage, or garden because radio does not require your physical presence in front of it. For example, many truck drivers use radio while driving, and this is their first source of news. Finally, radio is much cheaper than television. Thus, some people find radio to be more useful than television.

However television has its advantages. First of all, it shows audio along with video. This is why it becomes easier for viewers to fully understand the news. It is difficult to describe everything using only sound. The growth / growth in the number of TV viewers over the past few decades is a good indicator of this. In addition, advances in technology have dramatically reduced the cost of televisions over the past few years. Thus, people can now easily access television.

In conclusion, both radio and television are good at conveying news in their own way. While radio is a good source of information, when someone is traveling, television provides a wider coverage of news. I am of the opinion that television is better than radio, and the growth of its audience is proof of this.
