You will listen to four recordings by native English speakers and then write the answers to a series of questions.
Part 1 is a conversation between two people in an everyday social context.
Part 2 is a monologue in an everyday social context, for example. talking about local objects.
Part 3 is a conversation between four people in an educational or academic context, such as a university tutor and a student discussing an assignment.
Part 4 is a monologue on an academic topic, for example. lecture at the university.
It consists of four parts with ten questions each. The questions are structured so that the answers appear in the order in which they appear in the audio recording.
The first two parts are devoted to situations that arise in everyday social context. Part 1 has a conversation between two speakers (for example, talking about organizing a trip) and Part 2 has a monologue (for example, talking about local amenities). The last two parts are devoted to situations that arise in educational and teaching contexts. Part 3 has a conversation between two main speakers (for example, two university students in a discussion, perhaps instructor-led), and Part 4 has a monologue on an academic topic.
